About the author

Open content projects are usually volunteer driven, just like open source projects are. However there are situations, just like in open source development, where it makes sense for a company to pay people to work on open content projects. In this poster World66, the open content travel guide, would like to present its plans to offer 'Travel Grants.' Anybody going on a trip can get sponsored by World66, provided he or she writes up the visited destinations on World66. Any content will be licensed under the Creative Commons license.
