This is the third newsletter of Wikimedia Wikimeet India 2021, which is an online wiki-event by CIS-A2K to be conducted from 19 â 21 February 2021 during the occasion of International Mother Language Day with different components such as online workshops, presentations, discussions, etc. mostly focusing on different Wikimedia projects in India. In this newsletter, we will discuss the structure of the event and what work is already done and some inputs on upcoming days.
This is second-month approx since we started working on Wikimeet. We have spent the past 15 days preparing the programme committee and sent out the request for submission.Â
Submissions[edit]
On 26 December submission of the proposal for community members to present in WMWM has started. The sessions can be a presentation, workshop, lightning discussion, or panel discussion. If you are interested to talk about the work you are in Wikimedia world please submit your proposal here.Â
Programme committee[edit]
We have reached to a group experienced Wikimedians to join the programme committee and help us in preparing the event schedule, selecting the submissions and other things. As of now we have 4 people on the committee and expecting some more Wikimedians to join at the earliest.Â

- Logo design:We have received the 3 Logo proposals and its still open for the community members to submit more proposals, if you are interested please visit here. Â
- Translation:WMWM event page is planned to be in multiple languages and it's been marked for translation to Indic languages, if you are your community members are interested please help us to translate the pages into your local and languages and reach out to more number of community members.Â
