Welcome to the page of the Wikimedia Club Yamoussoukro

The "Club Wikimedia Yamoussoukro" started in 2022 and is part of Wikimedia Côte d'Ivoire. Its main goal is to make knowledge available to everyone through Wikimedia projects.

Goals

1. Promote free and open access to knowledge by contributing to Wikimedia projects;
2. Act as ambassadors for Wikimedia Côte d'Ivoire;
3. Raising awareness in the local community of the importance of free knowledge and Wikimedia projects;
4. Document and promote local culture, history and traditions on Wikimedia platforms.

Activities

The wikimedia Yamoussoukro club carries out various activities, the most important of which are:

• WikiWorkshops;
• Participate in conferences;
• Training;
• Photo excursion
