What is the main goal of your project?
  • Only ~5% articles related to youth and children rights are avialable in Uzbek Wikipedia. We want to reduce this gap.
Describe which activities you plan to implement
  • We are going to conduct all about Wikipedia including, how to create articles in Wikipedia, editing processes and upload medias to Wikimedia Commons.

  • My team, all of them are volunteers:
    • Abdullayev Mirfayzbek - me, head of core organizing team and responsible for general matters
    • Jurakulova Feruza - well-experienced graphic designer and responsible for presentations
    • Arslon Begmatov - responsible for preparation the event venue
    • Farrukh Sirojiddinovich - mobilograph, responsible for making videos from the workshop
    • Qurbon Jurayev - wikimedian, trainer for conducting wiki-lessons
    • Nurislom Aliyev - wikipedian, trainer for conducting wiki-lessons

  • Our workshop will focus on Wikipedia. We are going to explore new wikimedians through workshop. In addition, we will contribute to Wikimedia Commons about historical objects near the venue of the event.
