Summary

[edit]

The target groups are both large and small communities struggling to persuade their readers to edit. In my talk I will cover different techniques which I personally use in Esperanto Wikipedia in order to turn readers to editors, including the use of the social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, having a Telegram-channel and a Telegram chat group, Wikipedia-banners, edit-a-thons, as well as offline event, and will provide relevant examples.

Expected outcomes

[edit]

As an outcome I would be happy to see more communities having and implying the skills gained from my session (turning readers to editors), and as a result, having a bigger and more active community.
