| Abstract:
Georgian Association of History Teachers to Georgian Wikipedia since 2016. In the same year, we started organizing WikiCamps for students, which we organize every year, where dozens of students study wiki technologies. We aimed to fill the Georgian Wikipedia with articles to help school students and teachers expand their knowledge of history. The years of the Soviet occupation are especially relevant for historians' coverage of historical events in Wikipedia. That's why we cooperate with the Modern History Center, National Archives, Security Archives, etc., to let's describe this period in Wikipedia. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
This will enable the representatives of the region to better understand and familiarize themselves with the work in the field of teaching Wikipedia to schoolchildren in Georgia. Also, representatives of the region will be able to take the example of Georgia for their respective programs. | |||
