| Abstract:
This demonstration seeks to transfer our experience on how we empower higher education students to become local heritage ambassadors leveraging Wikipedia and Wikidata, unlocking a wealth of information and imagery. We will present how one can exploit Jekyll, a user-friendly platform for building static websites, and dynamically retrieve data Wikipedia and Wikidata in order to create dynamic ensembles. We will also discuss our experience on how this process motivates participants to further enrich Wikipedia, Wikidata and Commons. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
Participants will gain hands-on experience with web development tools, Wikipedia and Wikidata API, while promoting local heritage and fostering cultural awareness in their communities. This engaging session fosters both technical skills and cultural awareness. | |||
