Abstract:

Organizing Wikipedia editing workshops for partner's staff is a continuous learning process with challenges and opportunities. Editing Wikipedia is often an extra task, making it easy to bore and discourage participants. This presentation focuses on experimenting, making mistakes, and learning from them to create engaging workshops, using mainly GLAM-Wiki examples.

We will discuss keeping participants interested by showing the benefits of collaboration. Drawing from our experiences in Poland, we will share practical tips and strategies to make training sessions effective. Our ongoing process of learning aims to inspire others to develop their own strategies, making Wikipedia editing rewarding for partner's staff.
