How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?

This session is all about making it easier — and more fun — to welcome new editors to Wikipedia. I’ll share what worked (and what didn’t) during a recent project on crocheting with the "Crocheting in Wikipedia" WikiProject. We’ll talk about how to create a space where newcomers feel like they belong and want to keep contributing. You’ll leave with simple ideas and tools to make onboarding feel less like a task and more like an invitation — something you can use right away in your own community.
