| Abstract:
This 45-minute Problem Solver session will bring together Wikimedia contributors from the Central and Eastern Europe region to tackle some of the common editorial and organizational challenges we face. We often struggle with verifying local sources, managing media files on Wikimedia Commons, and finding effective ways to engage new editors. During the session, I will briefly introduce these issues. Then participants will work in small groups to share their experiences and brainstorm practical solutions that can be adapted to their communities. The goal is to leave the session with concrete ideas and strategies that help improve the quality of Wikimedia projects and strengthen collaboration across the region, especially in regional wikiprojects (e.g., those focused on ethnography, folklore, history etc) |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
This session allows participants to work together on real challenges Wikimedia communities face in our region. By sharing experiences and ideas, we can find practical solutions that people can use in their projects. Attendees will also learn useful problem-solving techniques and discover Wikimedia tools that can make their work easier and more effective. Beyond that, the session will help build connections between editors and activists across Central and Eastern Europe, encouraging ongoing collaboration and support. | |||
