| Abstract:
Join us for a session with the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees! This is your chance to learn what the Board does, how its work is shaped by and impacts our global communities, how it shows up in your regular Wikimedia work, and how trustees navigate key strategic challenges. Whether you're new to the Movement or a long-time contributor, you're invited to ask questions, share your ideas, and connect with the Board. After a brief panel and open Q&A, we’ll break into smaller groups to dive deeper into specific topics relevant to the region and beyond. The session is designed to be collaborative, informal and open to all level of Wikimedia experience. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
This is a great opportunity for the region to meet directly with the Board of Trustees. The session will help to provide better understanding of the Board's work and how it supports our communities and projects. The session also aims to build trust, and encourage movement members, including those from the CEE region, to consider participating in future Board activities. It also a space to raise and discuss with the Board topics relevant for our region. | |||
