| Abstract:
In 2025, Wikimedia Ukraine scaled up our efforts for supporting administrators and patrollers. While we had organised training sessions and the first forum of administrators of Ukrainian wikiprojects in the past, our efforts were not systematic and we decided to change it now. So far we have ran the survey for administrators and patrollers, we are running a series of interviews and preparing networking and training events for sysops and patrollers, with more to follow between now and the CEE Meeting. The goal of this sessions are twofold. On one hand, it will present our experience of this programme, main takeaways from the surveys and interviews, as well as the activities we have run or are planning to run. On the other hand, it will have space to discuss similar initiatives in other countries / communities as well as ideas for supporting users with extended rights from session attendees. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of CEE?
Participants from across the CEE will be able to learn from the Ukrainian experience as well as discuss similar experiences in their communities or suggest ideas. As supporting users with extended rights is important for community sustainability, this session will hopefully encourage and empower participants from other communities to run similar programmes in their countries / languages. | |||
