Rules on international level

Timezone: CET/CEST (UTC+1/UTC+2) and EET/EEST (UTC+2/UTC+3)

  • The top ten participants in CEE Women, CEE Youth, CEE for Human Rights and Quote me each will be awarded prizes. (Only participants with at least 25 articles/pages are eligible for prizes.)
  • Participants will be ranked based on the number of points won from writing or improving articles.
  • The number of points equals the amount of written or improved articles.
  • One participant can win prizes in every sub-contest.

Hall of Fame

Write an article on all participating communities (based on Wikimedia CEE Spring 2026/Participants) and receive a small thank you gift for your efforts!

CEE Women

This contest focuses on improving and expanding content related to women from Central and Eastern Europe. It aims to highlight notable women in history, culture, science, politics, and other fields while addressing the gender gap in Wikimedia projects.

CEE Youth

Dedicated to topics related to young people in the CEE region, this contest encourages article creation on youth culture, education, activism, and influential young figures. It also aims to engage younger contributors in Wikimedia projects.

CEE for Human Rights

This contest emphasises topics related to human rights issues, activists, movements, and historical events in the CEE region. It seeks to enhance awareness and documentation of human rights efforts across different Wikipedia language editions.

Coordinate Me

Since 2025, CEE Spring has co-organised an international Wikidata competition focused on content with geographic data.

Quote me

[edit]

The goal of this contest is to add quotations from prominent people, books, films and proverbs from the region of Central and Eastern Europe to Wikiquote.
