Wikimedia CH/Micro Grant/Example 1

Planned activity:
Purchase of safety equipment in order to be able to take pictures on construction sites. This equipment will afterwards be the property of Wikimedia CH, so that other volunteers can enjoy the use of the equipment and take pictures of construction sites for Wikimedia Commons as well.

People involved
(e.g. How many people can benefit from the micro grant you request):
At the beginning, you will be the main beneficiary of your request in the short term, e.g. during the upcoming 12 weeks in order to document the construction process over time. Afterwards, the equipment will be freely available for all other Wikimedia Commons photographers in Switzerland.

Please explain how your activity will influence other Wikimedia Projects
(e.g. quantitative: number of new pictures uploaded to commons, number of new articles created / qualitative: strengthen the community of german-speaking wikipedia authors etc,):
The activity will result in 25 pictures of high quality on Wikimedia Commons. Furthermore the pictures will be re-used to illustrate the article XY.
