ウィキメディア 中央・東ヨーロッパ協会とは中欧と東欧にあるウィキメディアのコミュニティ群を結ぶ提携関係を指します。当グループの主な目標はCEE地域のウィキメディアのプロジェクト群の発展促進と域内の個別プロジェクトとの協力と相互理解を助けることにあります。
背景
The Central and Eastern European Wikimedia Group, also called as CEEWiki Group or CEEWikiLink, was founded in Haifa at Wikimania 2011. Its main purposes are organizing chapter meetings and helping those countries which have no chapter or user group.
目的は？
CEE Partnership is basically a broad project to "link-up" the CEE wikis in mutual co-operation. Some initiatives of this project include:
- Wikimedia meetup Central and Eastern Europe
- A joint CEE mailing list, facebook page and IRC channel
- The annual Wikimedia CEE Spring article coverage campaign (this includes each CEE wiki having articles about other CEE countries - e.g. the Romanian Wikipedia having articles about famous Estonians and towns in Estonia)
- A representative body aimed at extending communication with other movement parties and developing constituent communities.

ウィキメディアの複数のプロジェクトが特定の地域で協力体制を組んだ初めての事例です。メタウィキメディアを除くと、ウィキメディアの使用言語が異なるプロジェクト間で組織ぐるみの協働することは実にまれでした。この点は重要で、協力により CEE 地域全域のウィキ群が互いに育つからです。またウィキメディア全体におけるCEE 地域のウィキに発言力がつきます。ちょうど欧州連合 (EU) が成し遂げた前例があるように。

- Wikimedia CEE Hub — a regional support and coordination structure aiming to help individuals, groups, and affiliates who contribute to the Wikimedia movement based in: アルバニア, アルメニア, アゼルバイジャン, ベラルーシ, ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナ, ブルガリア, クロアチア, チェコ共和国, キプロス, エストニア, ジョージア, ギリシャ, ハンガリー, カザフスタン, コソボ共和国, ラトビア, リトアニア, 北マケドニア, マルタ, モルドバ, モンテネグロ, ポーランド, ルーマニア, ロシア, セルビア, スロバキア, スロベニア, トルコ, ウクライナ. As the first well-developed Hub structure in the Wikimedia movement, Wikimedia CEE Hub is open to support, share its experience and offer guidance to individuals and groups from outside our region - especially those interested in creating their own regional hub.
