About

WikiGap Malaysia 2025 is a physical edit-a-thon to create and edit more articles about women to narrow the gender gap in Wikipedia and to make women more visible online. It is the fourth WikiGap edition in Malaysia in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Wikimedia Community User Group Malaysia.

Languages involved in this WikiGap: Malay, English, Chinese, Tamil, Iban, Kadazandusun, West Coast Bajau.

Languages in Incubator: Semai.

Background

There is a gender gap on articles in Wikipedia. There are also less women editors in Wikipedia. But you can help in narrowing the gap!
