Introduction[edit]
The 2017 year has been an energetic year for Wikimedia Community User Group Tanzania as many Wiki volunteers joined the group.The training workshops conducted by Ingo Koll as well as other Awareness creation weekly meetups have resulted to good fruits including having the first Wiki editathon in Tanzania with the focus of Adding Swahili contents to Wikipedia under the supervision of Ingo Koll as shown in dashboards below.

Ingo Koll did various number of practical training to Tanzanians during his stay in Tanzania hence this event was the application of some editing skills which was taught by Ingo Koll to the Tanzanian Wiki editors .This editathon is termed as the First Editathon in Tanzania. |
