Introduction[edit]
The Wikipedia in African Libraries - Uganda meetup April 2021 is a community outreach event of the Wikimedia User Group in Uganda aimed at gathering Ugandan-based students in the AfLIA-organised Wikipedia in African Libraries in order to
- Meet and interact with members of the Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda as part of outreach;
- Give Ugandan participants in the course an opportunity to interact with each other,address challenges they are finding as a group and also receive in-person help for the same.
This event will be divided into these parts as follows
- Course review: Review the course with the participants in order to identify challenges and provide solutions.
- In-person interaction with AfLIA's Wikipedian in Residence,AfLIA committee member(s) based in Uganda, course participants and members of the Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda .
