We are opening up the digital world to seniors. We have already taught more than 600 of them how to write Wikipedia for free. They are gaining a meaningful new hobby, making friends and passing on the wisdom they have gained in life. Will you join us in this unique project?

2022-12-02: Discussion in Brussels: How Wikipedia fights against disinformation[edit]
In the European Parliament yesterday, under the auspices of MEP Marcel Kolaji, a discussion took place on how projects like Wikipedia fight against disinformation. Representatives of Wikimedia Ukraine, Wikimedia Foundation and Klára Joklová, Executive Director of Wikimedia Czech Republic, offered their views.
2022-12-08: Ukrainian writer and Wikipedian Volodymyr Vakulenko killed in Russian Federation invasion of Ukraine[edit]
Early this week, we received confirmation that Ukrainian writer, activist and long-term Wikipedia volunteer Volodymyr Vakulenko had been killed by the Russian army during its invasion of Ukraine.
