Program Overview
[edit]This Wikimedia training program is organized for students of Liberty University, focusing on collaborative knowledge production and digital engagement through Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikiversity. The program highlights the integration of human rights themes within Wikimedia platforms, while building essential skills in editing, sourcing, licensing, and multilingual contributions.

Participants
[edit]The program targets a total of 40 university students:
- 16 postgraduate students
- 24 undergraduate students
All participants are expected to actively contribute to Wikimedia projects and complete the practical assignments.

Core Objectives
[edit]- Build participants’ capacity to edit and contribute meaningfully across Wikimedia projects.
- Strengthen understanding of Creative Commons licenses and open access principles.

- Introduce Wikidata as a structured knowledge platform.
- Encourage the use of Wikiversity for academic and collaborative educational materials.
