Attendees: Endowment Advisory Board Members:Annette Campbell White, Peter Baldwin, and Niels Christian Nielsen

Wikimedia Foundation Staff:Lisa Gruwell, Anna Stillwell, Marc Brent, Jerry Kim and Katherine Maher

Summary of Action Items:

1) Niels Christian Nielsen was appointed to the Wikimedia Endowment Board. Voting in Favor: Campbell-White and Baldwin. Voting Against: None

2) The Investment Policy was approved. Voting in Favor: Campbell-White, Nielsen and Baldwin. Voting Against: None

3) Board Direction to Staff:

• Develop mission statement and marketing materials
• Recruit next two members in California and then decide where the 7th comes from, which could lead to a larger board w/ an executive committee in the future
• Schedule two Endowment Board meetings per year: London in June 2017 and San Francisco in January 2018
• Peter Baldwin will host an Endowment Dinner in March.
