What is EuroComms

EuroComms is a communication-focused collaboration initiative for people working on communication, public relations, social media, campaigns, storytelling, media relations, and other external communication activities related to Wikimedia projects and affiliates across Europe.
The initiative creates opportunities for:
- peer exchange and networking,
- sharing communication challenges and best practices,
- discussing ongoing campaigns and trends,
- building connections between communication professionals and volunteers in the Wikimedia movement.
EuroComms meetings are open spaces for discussions and knowledge exchange, not formal trainings or presentation-based events.
The initiative is led by Wikimedia Europe in collaboration with Wikimedia CEE Hub. Our current task force members include Iryna (Ira) Boiko, Peter Zlabinger and others.
Who is it for?

- communication and PR staff at Wikimedia affiliates,
- volunteers responsible for social media or outreach,
- campaign coordinators,
- community members involved in storytelling or external communications,
- anyone supporting communication activities related to Wikimedia projects in Europe.
Whether you work professionally in communications or support your community as a volunteer, you are welcome to join.

We encourage participants to share the invitation with Wikimedians involved in communication-related initiatives across Europe.
