Lots of money goes into content serving. Could some of that be saved by operating Wikipedia similarly to peer-to-peer file sharing networks, e.g.: BitTorrent? Or would the latency be inacceptable for the readers? Other reasons against it?
Saving money on servers and datacenters. Allowing people to donate bandwith not just money.
