Mohapatra (Puri), a new editor who joined last year is one of the top-most contributors; Odia Wikimedian Dr Subas Chandra Rout was awarded the "2024 Cure Award" and "The 2024 Cure Translators Award" by the WikiProject Med for being the most prolific medical translator of 2024, with over 349 medicine-related articles created on Odia Wikipedia; Two Odia Wikimedians, Mrutyunjay Kar and Sangram Senapati, were invited by the language and culture department of the Odisha government, who, together, discussed future collaborations; ODW collaborated with the Centre for Internet and Society's Access to Knowledge, hosting the 2024 Train-the-Trainer program during 18-20 October 2024; Sangram Senapati was invited to join the Indic Oral Culture Wiki 2024-25, uploading over 1.5 hours of videos related to folk plays and folk stories. He also presented about his audio data (using LinguaLibre) and video contributions. | |
