Goal delivery
What is the affiliate mission? The elected board continued working as of 1 January 2024. The main goals of Tunisia User Group are:
  1. Representing the Wikimedia Foundation in Tunisia.
  2. Establishing a base and a reference for all Tunisians in Wikipedia and all other Wikimedia projects.
  3. Promoting and developing the content related to Tunisia.
  4. Organizing activities, gatherings, workshops, and different projects for contributors.
  5. Unifying the efforts of the contributors under one umbrella, especially those with technical skills.
  6. Gathering the contributors who live abroad and have them put some focus and efforts in enhancing content, especially what's related to Tunisia.
  7. Unifying the contribution to the international activities, such as Wiki Love… contests and others.

Elections for 2025-2026 are planned to take place in March 2025.

Organizational development
How does the affiliate make decisions? How are decisions communicated? The Wikimedia Ghana User Group Board helps in the day-to-day administration of the user group. The Board, in collaboration with the community, contractors and volunteers, ensure that the user group goes by its annual planned activities. It acts as an advisor and sometimes supervises the implementation of our programs. The board currently constituted is made of all 3 first subscriber members (two voting and one non-voting member). The user group is electing a community board seat, a voting seat.

Affiliate health and resilience
How many people participate in the decision-making process in the affiliate? The board has three voting members.
Has there been any significant changes in the level of the affiliate membership body (e.g. increase/decrease of number of dues-paying members)? Currently we have around 50 active members working with Wikimedia projects in Tunisia.
Are there any affiliate activities in the past year that were led by affiliate members? Please share the highlights. WikiChallenge Ecoles d'Afrique 2023/2024 ; Wikimedia Research in Tunisia ; as well as WLM, WLE, and many local workshops and edithons.

Diversity balance (especially gender)
What is the diversity level of the affiliate leadership and membership body? We have around 35 % of women is actively contributing to our UG. We are looking to improve this furthermore.
How is the affiliate leadership encouraging gender diversity in the decision-making process(es) of the affiliate? We encourage content creation about women, and we always make sure that our environment is safe to everyone.

How does the affiliate leadership ensure, enforce, and evaluate compliance with the Universal Code of Conduct obligations? TBC; no mention of UCoC in the group website yet

How many affiliate members are active contributors to the Wikimedia projects? Around 30 people.
How many affiliate members are not active contributors to the Wikimedia projects? Between 10 to 20.
How many affiliate members are active organizers (of projects, events, conferences, initiatives, etc) within the Wikimedia movement? Around 15 people.
How many people have participated in affiliate projects, events, conferences, and/or initiatives in the past year? Over 100, and we had 8 people who attended Wikimedia conferences in 2024.
