  • During this period we had the following editing workshops:

This second session focused on searching for and including references to support articles, uploading multimedia files to Wikimedia Commons, and publishing completed articles.
  • During this period we perform a new activity called Wiki-interview, in which we interview Ecuadorian people related to culture or activism for whom there are not enough references as we believe there should be or who have not been featured enough in the press. We did the following (Commons links can be found in the linked report):
    • Wikiinterview with Ernesto Carrión, the first Wikiinterview, took place on January 25, 2024. The guest was writer Ernesto Carrión, with whom we spoke about his novel Triángulo Fúser.
    • Wikiinterview with María Paulina Briones, took place on April 1, 2024, and the guest was writer, editor, and cultural manager María Paulina Briones, in which we discussed her literary and publishing career.
    • Wikiinterview with Franchesca Jara, took place on June 11, 2024, and the guest was LGBT activist Franchesca Jara, with whom we discussed activism and the history of sexual diversity in the Ecuadorian city of Loja.
