Goal delivery
What is the affiliate mission? Our mission is to give voice to the knowledge of women from Global South communities and to promote digital decolonization, in order to achieve a more equitable representation of human knowledge that includes women’s perspectives—knowledge that has long been made invisible.
What are the affiliate goals? Link to the strategic plan, if there is one. We aim to build technical and organizational capacities, foster new female leadership, and provide support to Latin American women’s communities of all ages in their wiki-related cultural projects.

Organizational development
How does the affiliate make decisions? How are decisions communicated? The decisions are made by the Council and are transmitted via emails and in the Telegram group.
What is the current state of the affiliate finances? Link to the latest financial report, if there is one. N/A
Affiliate health and resilience
How many people participate in the decision-making process in the affiliate? The Council is made up of 15 women volunteers who come from Argentina, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela but all members are invited to our virtual meetings and can have their say and make proposals.
Has there been any significant changes in the level of the affiliate membership body (e.g. increase/decrease of number of dues-paying members)? This year our group grew as women who participated in our trainings joined the UG. Members do not pay dues, this is a volunteer group.

Leadership and inclusion
Diverse, skilled, and accountable leadership
What kind of skills does the affiliate leadership possess? Our leaders are experienced Wikimedians with strong knowledge of Wikimedia policies, experience in training, event coordination, and building partnerships across different countries in Latin America,
Is there any kind of succession plan for the affiliate leadership? We have founded a School for Female Leaders because we need new generations of women volunteers.

Diversity balance (especially gender)
What is the diversity level of the affiliate leadership and membership body? All members of the user group are women from all over Latin America from 18 to 66 years old.

How many affiliate members are active contributors to the Wikimedia projects? Our group has grown, now we have 125 editor members registered on Meta Muj(lh)eres latinoamericanas en Wikimedia#Members who have user accounts and have edited.
How many affiliate members are not active contributors to the Wikimedia projects? Our group has grown, now we have 297 members registered in Facebook Mujeres Latinoamericanas en Wikimedia.

What would affiliate leadership list as the top 3 (three) capacities of the affiliate? (e.g. evaluation, community governance, programs and events, organizational governance and resource policies, conflict management, partnerships, fundraising, communication and media relations, contributor development, on-wiki technical skills, policy advocacy, etc) We promote female leadership by empowering women to become leaders with leadership and collaborative programs.
One of our proudest achievements was building a safe and inclusive community where women feel confident to participate.
Launching a regional mentorship program that connected experienced women Wikimedians with new editors across Latin America.
What are the 3 (three) capacities that the affiliate would like to strengthen in the next 12 months? We should work on strengthening our internal and external communication and share our impact more effectively.
Without financial resources, our ability to maintain and strengthen this regional network remains limited.
It is essential that our activities receive proper funding, as we currently operate without financial support.
