| What is the affiliate mission? | Establishing the presence of the Wikimedia Movement in Tanzania as well as creating awareness of Wikimedia projects to Tanzanians, editing and adding contents to Wikimedia projects on SwahiliWiki (swwiki) and EnglishWiki (enwiki). Also the group serves on recruiting and training people on how they can be a part of Wikimedia through editing and adding contents to Wikipedia and its sister projects. | |

| How does the affiliate make decisions? How are decisions communicated? | The Wikimedia Community User Group Tanzania Board helps in the day-to-day administration of the user group. The Board, in collaboration with the community, contractors and volunteers, ensure that the user group goes by its annual planned activities. It acts as an advisor and sometimes supervises the implementation of our programs. The board currently constituted is made of all 5 first subscriber members (4 voting and one non-voting member). The user group is electing a community board seat, a voting seat. | |
