| What is the affiliate mission? | The Wikimedians of the Tamazight User Group is dedicated to promoting, enriching, and preserving Tamazight languages and culture across all Wikimedia projects. The group works to increase the availability and quality of knowledge related to Amazigh history, heritage, and contemporary society, while supporting contributors from diverse Tamazight-speaking communities. Through outreach, training, content creation, and partnerships with cultural and educational institutions, the User Group strives to strengthen representation of Tamazight languages online and ensure that Amazigh knowledge is freely accessible to people around the world. | |

How are decisions communicated? | The Wikimedians of the Tamazight User Group makes decisions through an open, collaborative process during online community meetings, where members discuss proposals and vote to reach a majority agreement. This participatory approach ensures transparency and collective ownership of the group’s activities. All decisions are recorded and communicated afterwards through our online communication channels, allowing members who could not attend to stay informed and engaged. | |
