Wikimedia Foundation Chief Executive Officer Transition Team/2021
Appearance
In February 2021, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees, in accordance with their Chief Executive Officer transition plan, established a Chief Executive Officer Transition Committee to recommend to the full Board of Trustees a successor to Katherine Maher. The group began their work in February 2021 with assistance from Viewcrest Advisors. On 14 September 2021, the Board announced that Maryana Iskander would begin as Chief Executive Officer in January 2022.
