در هر فرایند انتخاباتی، جامعه این فرصت را دارد که پرسش‌هایی برای پاسخ‌دهی نامزدهای هیئت امنا ارائه کند. کمیتهٔ انتخابات از میان فهرست پرسش‌هایی که توسط جامعه تهیه شده‌اند، تعدادی را برای پاسخ‌دهی نامزدها انتخاب می‌کند. نامزدها تنها موظف به پاسخ‌دادن به این پرسش‌های منتخب هستند. نامزدها باید همهٔ پرسش‌های الزامی موجود در فرم نامزدی را پاسخ دهند تا واجد شرایط باشند؛ در غیر این صورت، درخواست آن‌ها رد خواهد شد.

مکانیزم

امسال، فراخوان پرسش‌ها از سوی جامعه با اطلاعیهٔ آغاز فرایند ادغام شده است تا بتوانیم پرسش‌ها را زودتر در فرایند جمع‌آوری کنیم. سپس، کمیتهٔ انتخابات پنج (۵) پرسش را برای پاسخ‌دهی نامزدها انتخاب خواهد کرد. پرسش‌های منتخب ممکن است ترکیبی از پرسش‌های مشابه یا مرتبط ارسال‌شده از سوی جامعه باشند. این پرسش‌ها در فرم نامزدی گنجانده خواهند شد، بنابراین نامزدها تنها یک‌بار نیاز به پاسخ‌گویی خواهند داشت. این کار با هدف بهبود روند و کاهش بار روی نامزدها و همچنین سهولت دسترسی رأی‌دهندگان به همهٔ پاسخ‌ها در یک‌جا انجام می‌شود.

The number of Wikimedia affiliates has grown significantly over the past few years, but ensuring adequate resourcing can be a challenge. Given this, how might we rethink the movement ecosystem, including how affiliates are evaluated, engaged, and resourced?
As the Wikimedia Foundation's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position transitions, what qualities do you believe the incoming leader should embody, and how would these contribute to the advancement of the Wikimedia movement?
