Pemilihan Yayasan Wikimedia/2025/Pertanyaan untuk para calon

Dalam proses pemilihan ini, anggota komunitas berkesempatan untuk mengajukan pertanyaan yang akan dijawab oleh para calon Dewan Pengawas. Komite Pemilihan akan memilih pertanyaan dari daftar yang telah diajukan oleh anggota komunitas sebelumnya dan kemudian, para calon akan menjawab pertanyaan tersebut. Para calon hanya diminta untuk menjawab pertanyaan terpilih tersebut. Para calon harus menjawab semua pertanyaan wajib yang tercantum dalam formulir pencalonan agar dapat dianggap telah memenuhi syarat. Jika tidak, pencalonan tersebut akan dianggap batal.

Tata cara

Pada tahun ini, tahap pengajuan pertanyaan dari komunitas akan digabungkan dengan saat pengumuman perdana, sehingga proses pengumpulan pertanyaan bisa dilakukan secara lebih awal. Kemudian, Komite Pemilihan akan memilih 5 (lima) pertanyaan untuk dijawab oleh para calon. Pertanyaan terpilih mungkin merupakan hasil perpaduan dari daftar pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh komunitas, jika ternyata pertanyaan tersebut mirip atau berkaitan. Pertanyaan terpilih akan dimasukkan ke dalam formulir pencalonan, sehingga para calon hanya perlu menjawab pertanyaan sekali saja. Hal ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan meringankan beban para calon serta mempermudah pemilih dalam meninjau semua tanggapan di satu tempat.

Kemudian, Komite Pemilihan memilih pertanyaan berikut untuk dijawab oleh para calon. Para calon diberikan kesempatan hingga July 1, 2025 untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut melalui halaman pernyataan pencalonan masing-masing.

3. How should decisions about trade-offs and prioritisation in Wikimedia technology or product areas be approached? Please explain what the trade-off is in your view.
4. The number of Wikimedia affiliates has grown significantly over the past few years, but ensuring adequate resourcing can be a challenge. Given this, how might we rethink the movement ecosystem, including how affiliates are evaluated, engaged, and resourced?
5. As the Wikimedia Foundation's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position transitions, what qualities do you believe the incoming leader should embody, and how would these contribute to the advancement of the Wikimedia movement?
