В каждом избирательном цикле у сообщества есть возможность задать вопросы кандидатам в Совет попечителей. Избирательная комиссия выбирает вопросы из списка, сформированного сообществом, и предлагает кандидатам на них ответить. Кандидаты обязаны отвечать только на отобранные вопросы. Для признания заявки действительной кандидат должен дать ответы на все обязательные вопросы. При невыполнении данного требования заявка подлежит дисквалификации.

Механизм

В этом году сбор вопросов от сообщества начнётся одновременно с объявлением о начале приёма кандидатур, чтобы успеть собрать их заранее. Избирательная комиссия отберёт 5 вопросов. Итоговые вопросы могут объединять несколько схожих или тематически связанных вопросов, поступивших от сообщества. Отобранные вопросы будут интегрированы непосредственно в форму заявки кандидата, что позволит дать ответы единожды. Данный подход призван снизить нагрузку на кандидатов и одновременно упростить избирателям ознакомление со всеми ответами в одном месте.

Избирательная комиссия выбрала следующие вопросы, на которые кандидаты должны ответить. Кандидаты должны были предоставить свои ответы до 1 июля 2025 года в своей заявке кандидата.

What will be the first new issue you would like to bring to the attention of the Board for discussion, and how would you approach it?
How should decisions about trade-offs and prioritisation in Wikimedia technology or product areas be approached? Please explain what the trade-off is in your view.
The number of Wikimedia affiliates has grown significantly over the past few years, but ensuring adequate resourcing can be a challenge. Given this, how might we rethink the movement ecosystem, including how affiliates are evaluated, engaged, and resourced?
As the Wikimedia Foundation's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position transitions, what qualities do you believe the incoming leader should embody, and how would these contribute to the advancement of the Wikimedia movement?
