What is your implication on Wikimedia projects? How is it aligned with the theme of the conference? Please describe in details.

I'm an old wikipedian, lot of time spent in recent change verifications. Now, I'm member of "commission de microfinancement" in WMFr, and I try to help by this way. Due to my past, as engineer marine science (including atmospheric phenomenon), and many travel around the world, including Africa, I've seen different cultures. I still being a member of concertation organism of my job. So, If the comparaison is with UN objectives, due to my professional experience I can talk about : 6) clean water and sanitation (link with atmospheric, rain, and waste going at the sea) 7 ) affordable and clean energy (marine energy, and wind energy at sea) 8) decent work and economic growth ( as member of concertation organism) 9) industry , innovation and infrastructure( I'm an engineer) 13) climate action (as marine scientist, impact of on sealevel, on acidification, on main current as "el niño", and so on..) 14) life below water (as marine scientist) If the copmparaison are with Wikimania spaces, strategy, as we've discussed one month ago in WMFr meeting, Environmental sustainability , due to my environnemental knowledge, are two main topics, but why not Commmunity growth, as commission de micro helps many new communities to organize events, or at the poster, and so on.

What is your motivation attending Wikimania?

I would like to understand Wikimedia in an international level. Maybe understand why WM Grants have problems. What is the future for Africa. What can we do to have more sustainable earth, and so on.

As i have exanged few time about th strategy, i would like to exange of this with other members and WMF see my participation at : Wikimédia France/Groupes de travail/Stratégie/Rencontres stratégie 2030

Do you also plan to attend the hackathon or the learning days? (if so, please describe your projects there)

Not planned for now.

Have you submitted a talk or a workshop for Wikimania 2019? (if so, please add a link)

I'll try to do something, but I must admit that I have not a lot of time now.

How good is your English?

I'm a B2 in English, have some international meeting in my work. Read many papers in English. Make a lot of mistake, but I'm not shy, and I'm understood. I hope last event at UNESCO show that I can exchange with many contributors. I'm also B1 in Spanish, that can be interesting ;)

Anything else?

As I said, there is for me a mutual interest, for wikimiania, but also an experience back for "commission de microfinancement". I hope i'll met other country.
