Experiment title: Free access to AI tools for volunteer developers to create Wikimedia tools.
Brief description of experiment: Provide Wikimedia volunteer developers with free access to AI tools for “vibe coding” to improve their productivity and encourage experimentation. Access could be facilitated through the Wikipedia Library, with an appropriate mechanism to grant and manage this service for eligible Wikimedians. A possible model is to buy API keys from platforms such as OpenRouter for volunteer developers through the Wikipedia Library.
