How to Design a Good Experiment - Some examples of experiments happening within Wikimedia

Experiment Workshops: Small group sessions to design safe to try ways to test emerging hypotheses What deliberate, ’safe to try’ experiment could you try to test one of these hypotheses?

Experiment Refinement and Activation Planning: Self-organized small groups will refine their experiments and develop action plans What actions will be needed for you to put your experiment in motion? How will you share the results with this group and the broader? Wikimedia movement?

Ideas for hackathon:

Wikimedia organizes hackathons throughout the year for technical contributors. If you have something that you think would be a good idea for something that a technical contributor could work on, but you cannot do it yourself right now, and it is not one of the listed experiments yet, then leave the idea here and we will share it with participants of the hackathons.

Ideas:

       - Add a list with authors on an article: Rotate through: 3 recent contributors, top 3 contributors, creator, author with most words added etc. This will better emphasize the humanity of our work.
