Wikimedia Ghana User Group Board
[edit]The Wikimedia Ghana User Group’s Board oversees the Wikimedia Ghana User Group and its activities, serving as the organization’s ultimate executive and administrative authority. The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, and guiding the User Group’s efforts to support Wikimedia projects and initiatives in Ghana.
Structure
[edit]The Wikimedia Ghana User Group Board was formed in September 2021 with three non-profit directors, who became the first subscriber board members. The current board has been increased to five members. The Board appoints officers from among its members, including a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Community Representative, Advisor and additional board members as required. The current membership composition of the Board is:

Wikimedia Ghana User Group By-Laws
[edit]After a series of reviews after first submitting our by-laws to the Affiliations Committee in our Chaptership application. We have been going through a review process since we had an expanded board and will complete the process in the next grant cycle.
