HELLO[edit]

The Wikimedia Conference was held in Berlin (Friday, 31 March 2017 to Sunday 2 April 2017).

Sandister Tei and Justice Okai-Allotey represented the Wikimedia Ghana User Group and will host community members to share the crucial things learned at the meeting.

Group members Felix Nartey and Raphael Berchie were also present at WMCON and will offer their experiences as well. The conference had 3 tracks/routes / paths or conversation.

Lessons will come from all three: Movement Strategy track, Capacity Building & Learning track and Movement Partnerships.

The user group is also using the opportunity (second objective) to meet with people (influencers) within the group who want to take the work of the user group to their communities in Kumasi and in the Northern region.

That said the meeting has two levels of participation non influencers and influencers.
