W grudniu 2024 roku stowarzyszenie liczyło 282 członków. Budżet na 2023 rok wyniósł około 740 000 €, pozyskanych z darowizn, darowizn podatkowych "Cinque per mille" oraz wkładów na działalność instytucjonalną.

- We participate round-the-year in local and national events and fairs, seminars, lectures in classrooms, etc. for promoting WMF projects in Italy (logbook)
- We support and collaborate in nationwide petitions and campaigns
- We organised some online and offline initiatives
- We have obtained the status of "associazione di promozione sociale" (social promotion association, a "charity" status in Italy); this grants tax deductibility on donations for the donors and other facilitations: we have also joined the WMF 2009 fundraising and 2009 "cinque per mille" campaign (sort of Eight per thousand for charities)
- Since 2015 we are the Italian chapter of the OpenStreetMap Foundation
- We have an office in Milan.

- We provide scholarships for events (Wikimania, itWikiCon, State of the Map, etc.)
