Proxy[edit]

I suggest that no poll be given to a proxy whatsoever,we delete that clause.

Project Manager[edit]

By acquiring a project Manager means we would be proffessionlisng our WMKE,I would suggest that we just make it "Office bearers".they will be assigned duties by the Board and will run/manage WMKE on bahalf and under the guidance of the Board.Otherwise having one on a voluntary basis as a Board member,i would suggest a few duties:

  • determining suitable projects for WMKE to engage in
  • overseeing the overall implementation of the projects under guidance from the Chair/Board
  • making and drafting policy/proposals regarding WMKE projects....just my thought

Official Language[edit]

English and/or Swahili will be the official languages..."may" in the clause

Finance[edit]

I think we should add a clause that stipulates the signatories to the finances and expenditures of WMKE funds.Plus any spending by the Treasurer should be approved by the Board

I second to have the Board's approval on the treasurer's spending. As for signatories, since the treasurer is directly charged with managin the chapter's funds, he/she should be one of the signatories and the other any member of the board plus the chair should have prior knowledge of this. Board names[edit]

though I know this will be a pain in...,just mischievous."Chairman" is quite chauvinistic,how about we adopt "Lead","Assistant Lead","Director" and such...:-) plus in the spirit of our new constitution,we have a one 3rd office for the females....:-).its just a mischief,what do u guys think?
