উইকিমিডিয়া ভাষা বৈচিত্র্য কেন্দ্র (LDH) একটি প্রস্তাবিত উইকিমিডিয়া কেন্দ্র যা অধিভুক্ত সংস্থা ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবীদের জন্য নিবেদিত, যারা উইকিপিডিয়া বা অন্যান্য উইকিমিডিয়া প্রকল্পের নতুন ভাষা সংস্করণের উপর কাজ করছেন। এর অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবে সাধারণত আদিবাসী, সংখ্যালঘু, সুবিধাবঞ্চিত এবং স্বল্প-সম্পদযুক্ত ভাষা সম্প্রদায়। এই কেন্দ্রটি উইকিমিডিয়া ভাষা বৈচিত্র্য উদ্যোগের একটি সম্প্রসারণ ও ধারাবাহিকতা হিসেবে পরিকল্পিত, এবং এটি উইকিমিডিয়া ২০৩০ আন্দোলন কৌশল সুপারিশ অনুযায়ী প্রস্তাবিত।
দৃষ্টি ও লক্ষ্য
উইকিমিডিয়া ভাষা বৈচিত্র্য কেন্দ্রের দৃষ্টি হলো এমন একটি বিশ্ব গড়ে তোলা যেখানে প্রতিটি ভাষা সম্প্রদায় উইকিমিডিয়া বাস্তুতন্ত্রের মধ্যে অবদান রাখতে ও বিকশিত হতে পারে, যার মাধ্যমে অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক মনোভাব, ভাষাগত বৈচিত্র্য এবং জ্ঞানের ক্ষেত্রে জ্ঞানের ন্যায্য প্রবেশাধিকার নিশ্চিত করা।
আমাদের লক্ষ্য হলো প্রযুক্তিগত দক্ষতা, সম্পদ ও ওকালতি প্রদানের মাধ্যমে সংখ্যালঘু, আদিবাসী, স্বল্প-নিষেবিত, এবং স্বল্প-সম্পদযুক্ত ভাষা সম্প্রদায়গুলিকে ক্ষমতায়ন ও সহায়তা করা, যাতে একটি আরও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক ও বহুভাষিক উইকিমিডিয়া বাস্তুতন্ত্রের জন্য তাদের কণ্ঠস্বর শোনা যায় এবং তাদের জ্ঞান তাদের নিজস্ব শর্তে ভাগ করা যায়।

- Technical Support: Offer training and assistance navigating Wikimedia tools.
- Language Revitalization Tools: Connect communities with resources like Wikitongues and Lingualibre for multimedia dictionary creation.
Beyond the Incubator
- Long-term Support: Offer ongoing guidance and resources after the incubation period.
- Impact Measurement: Track project progress over time (1, 3, 5 years) to evaluate success.
- Active Community Strategies: Share knowledge on fostering engaged communities.

This cohort represents diverse stages of growth, from early incubator reactivation to post-graduation strategic development. Mentorship focuses on overcoming specific technical, organizational, and outreach barriers to sustainable growth.

Annual General Assembly
The General Assembly (GA) of the Language Diversity Hub (LDH), taking place on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, starting at 13:00 UTC. This is a community-wide consultation and engagement space at the heart of the Language Diversity Hub. It is designed to:
- Keep the broader language and Wikimedia communities informed about LDH activities and initiatives.
- Gather feedback on our work, priorities, and direction from across the community.
- Create clear and open pathways for community members to get involved and contribute.

Language Diversity Conference 2026 in Accra, Ghana from October 2 to 4, 2026, aims to unite 100+ activists to advance multilingual content and protect underrepresented languages.
