5 November 2020 Online Rustam Nuryev published a report dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Bashkir Wikipedia and the 5th anniversary of the Wikimedians of Bashkortostan User Group.

18 November 2020 Online The “Support Centre for Bashkir Wikipedia Volunteers and Wikimedia Projects in the Bashkir Language” project of the non-commercial partnership “Wikimedia RU” won a grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan for the preservation and development of the state languages and languages of the peoples of Bashkortostan. The grant was provided by the Foundation for the Preservation and Development of the Bashkir Language of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

January 2021 Online Bashkir Wikipedia, together with the International Union of Public Organizations “World Kurultai (Congress) of Bashkirs”, within the framework of the Year of Bashkir History, began the project “Year of Bashkir History”.

20 February 2021 Ufa The Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater hosted a forum of Bashkir Wikipedians. The solemn forum celebrated the 15th anniversary of Bashkir Wikipedia. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Azat Badranov, Director of the non-profit partnership “Wikimedia RU” Vladimir Medeyko (Saint Petersburg), Chairman of the Presidium of The World Qoroltai of the Bashkirs, Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Elvira Aitkulova, Director of the Foundation for the preservation and development of Bashkir language Gulnaz Yusupova. They presented to the audience Letters of Thanks from the Head of the Republic, the Government and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the World Kurultai of the Bashkirs, the Foundation for the Preservation and Support of the Bashkir Language, letters of honour, congratulatory addresses.

23 April 2021 Ufa A workshop was held at the Ufa Multidisciplinary Vocational College as part of the Year of Bashkir History for representatives of the Kurultai Bashkirs of the regions and cities of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The workshop was attended by more than 60 representatives from local Kurultai, including librarians, workers of district and city information and analysis departments, as well as school teachers. Experienced volunteers — Zufar Salikhov, Minsulu Abdullina, and Zaituna Nigamatianova — held a practical lesson for several hours, answered questions. During the workshop, more than a dozen new participants registered in Bashkir Wikipedia.

4 May 2021 Starosubkhangulovo, Burzyansky District, Bashkortostan A Wiki-meeting was held in the wiki-club of the Burzyansky District. Lesson topics: registration of beginners; writing a new article; uploading photos to the Wikimedia Commons and posting photos to the article; translation of an article using a Content Translation tool; filling in the Wikidata items.

25-26 September 2021 Moscow / Online from Ufa Rustam Nuryev (Online) took part in the 15th Russian Wiki Conference 2021 held in Moscow. He made a report “Searching for a 'carrot' for Wikipedians on the Dobro.ru Portal.”
Also, Oleg Abarnikov (WBUG contact person and former administrator of the Bashkir WP) made a short report on the latest events in the Bashkir Wikipedia during the Round table on wiki projects in the languages of Russia.

25 September 2021 Moscow 11th Wiki Award Russia 2021 (by the “Wikimedia RU”).
Ansar Nuretdinov from Beloretsk made more than 19 thousand edits in the Bashkir Wikipedia in 2020, taking the first place among the editors of Russian regional Wikipedia editions. He received his third award in a row.

In total, 12 Wikipedians took part in the competition. During the competition, 537 articles were created or substantially expanded in the Bashkir Wikipedia. Four users also uploaded 34 new photos into the Wikimedia Commons.
1–30 November 2020 Participation in the Wikipedia Asian Month. Six of the seven participants created more than five articles.
— User Hayat Yosopova1 took first place with 15 articles and became “Wikipedia Asian Ambassador.”
— During the competition, 54 articles about Asia were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
1 November – 15 December 2020 Participation in the “Discover Russia. Novgorod Lands” competition. It's a thematic contest for writing Wikipedia and Wikivoyage articles about geography, history, and culture of the Republic of Karelia, Vologda Oblast, Leningrad Oblast, Novgorod Oblast, Pskov Oblast, and Saint Petersburg: the regions of Russia which relates to the historical concept of Novgorod Lands. In total, 5 Bashkir Wikipedians took part in the competition in the nomination “Wikipedia articles in all other languages [except Russian]”. During the competition, 418 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
— User Yuldasheva Luiza finished in 1st place with 165 articles created (14 of them are in Tatar Wikipedia) and 370 points.
— User Banat Valeeva-Yaubasarova finished in 2nd place with 184 articles created (15 of them are in Tatar Wikipedia) and 365 points.
— User Guram52 finished in 4th place with 37 articles created and 86 points.

27 November – 20 December 2020 Participation in the “Our Universities” article competition dedicated to higher educational institutions in Russia. Bashkir Wikipedians dominated in the nomination of articles in the languages of the peoples of Russia.

1-31 March 2021 The second edition of the “Toponyms of historical Bashkortostan 2021” competition was organized by volunteers of the Bashkir Wikipedia. The competition was funded by a grant from the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of the Civil Society Assistance Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The initiator of the competition, a wiki volunteer since 2012, the famous writer Guzal Sitdykowa calls for fixing geographical names and popularizing their use in the original Bashkir version. The UN in the “Manual for the National Standardization of Geographical Names” recommends using the local names created in the language of the autochthonic people. All big rivers and small streamlets, big and small lakes, high mountains, ridges, or small heights have the local, Bashkir name.
In total, 25 Wikipedians took part in the competition. During the competition, 709 articles were created or substantially expanded in the Bashkir Wikipedia. Cash prizes were received by 14 participants.
8 March – 8 May 2021 Participation in the “WikiGap 2021 Russia” competition. In total, nine Bashkir Wikipedians took part in the competition. There were 10 prizes in the nomination “Outstanding women of the world” in the languages of the peoples of Russia. During the competition, 236 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
— User Yuldasheva Luiza finished in 1st place (322 articles, 570 points; half of her articles were written in Tatar language/Wikipedia).
— User Ilnur efende from Tatar Wikipedia finished in 8th place with 7 articles in Bashkir language (75 articles, 80 points).
— User Akkashka finished in 9th place (23 articles, 34 points).
— User Ryanag finished in 10th place (8 articles, 20 points).
— User Banat Valeeva-Yaubasarova finished in 13th place (6 articles, 12 points) (out of prizes).
— User Hayat Yosopova1 finished in 14th place (5 articles, 9 points) (out of prizes).

21 March – 31 May 2021 Wikimedia CEE Spring 2021 is an annual event organised by Wikimedians and Wikipedians who joined the Central and Eastern Europe collaboration.
— In the Bashkir Wikipedia, 18 users took part in the contest. The best four are Akkashka, Tutәyĝosh, Sherbn, and Hayat Yosopova1.
— In total, 379 articles were created during the contest, 225 of them were accepted by the jury.
1-30 June 2021 The “Warriors of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division” competition was held in both Bashkir Wikipedia and Wikidata. Participants had to create articles about the warriors of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, which participated in the Great Patriotic War, and also fill out the information about these persons in Wikidata. The competition was funded by a grant from the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of the Civil Society Assistance Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In total, 15 Wikimedians took part in the competition, including five newbies.
During the competition, 507 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia, with information filled in Wikidata.
1-30 September 2021 The “Bashkir names 2021” competition was held in Bashkir Wikipedia. It was held primarily among students of universities of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The purpose of the competition is to recognize the meanings of Bashkir names, to disseminate in the world virtual space information about famous personalities of the Bashkir people, about toponyms, and cultural and historical objects of the republic associated with Bashkir names. The competition was funded by a grant from the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of the Civil Society Assistance Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In total, 25 Wikimedians took part in the competition, including 18 students-newbies.
During the competition, 667 articles were created in the Bashkir Wikipedia.
