This is a report page for the participation of representatives of Wikimedians of Bulgaria UG at the Wikimedia Conference 2017.

Strategy Track UG Representative: User:Spiritia[edit]
I attended both the preconference learning days and the conference, as a voted representative of the user group for the strategy track.
- Preconference
For the preconference, I had prepared two posters for the poster session:

I attended the following sessions:
- Day 1:
- Presentation Skills
- Consensus Building in Organizational Development
- Eval Workshop--Data Use and Eval Methods
- Anti-Harassment Tools: What to Build? (discussing ideas about improved and AI-based administrative tools against sockpuppetry)
- Working better together: Wikimedia Affiliates
- Day 2:
- Project Support Tools Rotation
- Program Planning Collab Exchange (building a rather complete project for wiki education for scientists)
- Education Strategy Session (3 parts)
I also had fruitful discussions with members from the Affiliations Committee, Rapid Grants team, Educational Collab.
- Conference
Most of the times I attended the Strategy track with several exceptions. On 31 March, I was co-lecturer with Maria Cruz of the workshop 30: Collaborative + Participatory Communications: A how-to guide, as part of the Capacity Building & Learning track of the conference.
On 1 April, I attended the lectures 32: Wizards, Muggles and Wikidata: cooperation with external organisations and 19: Working together: WMF Communications and Wikimedia movement affiliates. In the lunch break, I was invited to participate in an video interview for Wikimedia.
In my participation in the Strategy track, I was mainly engaged with discussions related to education, community health and volunteer support.
I took part in the CEE Meeting, discussing the design of the programme for the CEE Meeting 2017 in Warsaw (where I am a member of the programme committee), as well as the Wikimedia CEE Spring 2017.
