Edit-a-thon on International Day of Forests 2026 (In Arabic: إديتاثون اليوم العالمي للغابات 2026): The theme of World Forest Day 2026 is (Forests and Economies), Celebrated the essential roles forests played in promoting economic prosperity. These roles went beyond income and job opportunities generated from forest production and the trade of renewable raw materials and food; they also included supporting family and community agriculture, improving agricultural productivity, and protecting healthy watersheds.
Wikimedia Kuwait marked this occasion that year by writing articles about forests around the world, in addition to a variety of topics related to the economy in general.
