This is a report for activities performed by Wikimedians of Latvia User Group in 2019.
Wikipedian meetings[edit]
- During the year 7 meetings involving local and visiting wikimedians (at most 11 participants) were arranged.
Outreach events[edit]
- Advocacy for European Parliament copyright directive vote
- Mārtiņš Bruņenieks was invited for panel discussion at Digital approaches in cultural heritage
Community engagement[edit]
- Participation in Affiliate-selected Board seats selection
- Article contests
- Wikipedia cleanup contest
- CEE Spring 2019 article contest. Mārtiņš Bruņenieks was involved in organizing the contest also on international level.
- Wikipedia Asian Month
- Photo contests
- Wiki Loves Earth: 9th place photo in global contest (first time among finalists)
