Annual planning 2025
[edit]Annual planning starts before the end of the previous year. There are internal discussions, then a proposal call is posted on sk.Wikipedia. This time it was done with the Annual General Meeting invitation for 25 January 2025. No one contributed any suggestions on-wiki. During the AGM, the suggestion were discussed and approved as a plan for 2025. However, there is an understanding that the plan might change based on volunteers and their capacity as well as that of our (potential) partners.
Here is the list of our main activities for 2025:
- continue the Seniors writing Wikipedia project (with a grant from the WMF)
- Wiki Loves Earth 2025 with a possible grant request
- Wikimedia CEE Spring 2025 but without a jury or prizes
- organize an exhibition of CC-licensed photographs
- involvement in Wikimedia Europe and the CEE Hub
- take part in the Wikimania 2025 August 2025
- take part in the Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2025 in September 2025
- take part in the "Noc výskumníkov" science festival
- using our website better and periodically add content to promote the organization better
- improve communication through social media
- improve our internal data management solution
- organize an in-person meeting
- organizational growth and development with an eye on becoming a chapter
