- Wikipedia’s virtual birthday celebration, a global virtual party featuring remarks from community members about how they have seen the movement grow over the 20 years and their wishes for the future, as well as from Jimmy Wales and Katherine Maher.
- Wiki 20 Countdown, livestream series leading up to 20th anniversary weeklong celebration.
- Asia-Pacific - livestream event that feature activities & advocacies of the Asia Pacific Region.
- Africa - livestream event that feature activities & advocacies of the Wikimedians in the African Region.
- English Wiktionary will feature a special Word of the Day on its Main Page on 15 January 2021.

- One World Birthday, a celebration with speakers and a Wikidojo, in the afternoon/evening Jan. 15 in the Americas, morning in Asia, late night in Europe and Africa.
- Wikidata Live Editing a live stream, on 16 January, of Wikidata edits and queries focusing on Wikipedia turning 20.
- Open Anniversary: Share your favorite memories on this interactive timeline of Wikipedia and the free culture movement.
- Workshop: Creating a Theme for your 2021 A+F Event: As we celebrate Wikipedia's 20th birthday, we are creating a space for connection with the Art+Feminism community. Bring questions, ideas, energy to connect with others in A+F community including A+F leadership, event organizers and participants. This workshop will be repeated three times (twice in English and once in Spanish) to accommodate the global community.
