It is a project to create awareness on the use of Wikipedia as a Wikimedia products/ projects that Librarians and Library students in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria can adopt to promote digital information literacy, open knowledge, and free access to information for Library users in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

Action Points[edit]

1. Create awareness for WikiGLAM on Social media.

2. Recruit atleast 25 new Wikibrarian editors for the proposed WikiGLAM related activities on Wikipedia and its sister projects.

3. Create awareness among librarians and Library Students on the relevance and impacts of Wikimedia projects in libraries to its users.

4. Teach participants how to access and create a Wikipedia and Wikidata account.

5. Teach Participants the general editing rules of Wikipedia and Wikidata.

6. Create and or improve 100 articles on Wikipedia and Wikidata.

7. Expose librarians in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria to the relevance and impacts of WikiGLAM projects on libraries.

8. promote the use of Wikipedia and Wikidata among Librarians and Librarians-in-training at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
