This session will discuss my initiative as a new Wikimedia in making a restoration of stories about Madura, whether fact or fiction written by the Dutch colonial government and Javanese (Hanacaraka) writer. This work will emphasize local wisdom, recipes, past technology, and vocabulary. from entering words, classifying them, build dataset, producing meaning and entries in Madurese. This project highlights the issues we faced regarding the fading use of local languages and future collaboration with other communities and academics with Wikimedia as a means of sharing knowledge using new method.

The relationship with Wikisource and the Wikisource theme: Digital Transformation & Preservation of Heritage is that Dutch language or Java Script (Hanacaraka) as a form of cultural heritage can preserve its contents by collecting the script into a more easily accessible knowledge.
