Can you remove "delectation" notice? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Njoy deep (talkcontribs) 15:34, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi User:Njoy deep, I see that the title or the contents of the article have not been changed yet. Could you work on it by creating a list of test centers, and we can then remove the deletion tag. --Netha (talk) 19:59, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Copyediting[edit]

Hello, Recently you have added the tag of copy editing Here,.I think there is no copy editing, all the paragraphs are written well. (Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 01:47, 20 March 2020 (UTC))[reply]

Hi, Mr.Mani Raj Paul, It isn't me, it is User: Usernamekiran who added the tags. I cleaned up one section and removed one tag. I too think that the paragraphs require copyediting. The paragraphs should be structured, coherent and encyclopediac. I can help with it later if you don't intend to copyedit yourself. --Netha (talk) 08:44, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry , My mistake I thought you were added, I hope you will not mind (Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 11:23, 20 March 2020 (UTC))[reply]

@Mr.Mani Raj Paul: Hi. It wasnt me either. I actually removed one tag, after making minor improvement in grammar. However, I do believe the sections need copy-editing :) —usernamekiran (talk) 13:15, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

dont add blatantly false information misunderstanding rectified[edit]

Can you explain what do you mean by coronavirus having origin in China, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and UAE? Later, Qatar was also added in the list. I removed them all. —usernamekiran (talk) 22:57, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

usernamekiran : When I started the page, I copied the infobox from some other article, and filled it up with information related to Kerala. In the infobox template, the term used is 'origin', so I added the multiple origins of the outbreak in Kerala, which are the countries from which the virus came from. Of course, the pandemic originated in Wuhan, but I was thinking that the origins for this particular outbreak in Kerala were travelers from China, Italy, UAE etc. I have also mentioned this in the comment of the edit you have brought up above. Now I notice that when the template is saved, the field 'origin' is shown as 'First outbreak', in which case the definite answer is Wuhan. I am sorry for the oversight, and thank you for correcting it. To be accused of 'adding blatantly false information' isn't exactly a good feeling, I was only trying to be helpful with all the edits I am making to this and other COVID-19 related articles. --Netha (talk) 08:12, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
you are absolutely right. I apologise. I thought it was someone else who used your account to add the information. I should have assumed good faith, and should have asked you without accusing. Even though we haven't communicated directly, I've seen your lot of work, and I admire it. I should have assumed good faith. I'm very sorry. I shouldn't have been curt. Kindly accept my apologies. And yes, origin doesn't mean the path of virus. Now I can see why you added it. Sorry again. See you around —usernamekiran (talk) 13:18, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
usernamekiran In retrospect, I think I should have been more careful with editing this, because I just figured out that the page has been viewed over 200,000 times. I find it embarrassing that I let the wrong information on the infobox stay there for a long time. I usually watch and re-read the pages I have made significant edits to, but this time I got very busy with a lot of other stuff and oversaw this one. And yes, my account is safe. I am impressed that you have done a lot of work on Wikipedia, particularly with respect to COVID-19. It was nice to be able to meet you! --Netha (talk) 13:36, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
thank you for the kind words, and barnstar. I wish I could have been more active, but my activity has decreased a lot. Please let me know if you need any help regarding Wikipedia anytime in the future. It will be my pleasure. And don't feel bad about it; everybody knows the virus originated from China, and your other extraordinary contribution to COVID19 related articles overweighs this tiny error by tonnes. —usernamekiran (talk) 20:02, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Trikini[edit]

Hello, Netha Hussain,

Thank you for creating Trikini.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

It will be helpful to convert the bullet list in the Variations section into text, especially by expanding it to maintain an encyclopedic format.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|FULBERT}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

DS Alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Notice

The article Epidural opioid analgesia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I feel like this can be adequately covered in epidural administration.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez (User/say hi!) 05:59, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to take part in a survey about medical topics on Wikipedia[edit]

Dear fellow editor,

I am Piotr Konieczny, a sociologist of new media at Hanyang University (and User:Piotrus on Wikipedia). I would like to better understand Wikipedia's volunteers who edit medical topics, many associated with the WikiProject Medicine, and known to create some of the highest quality content on Wikipedia. I hope that the lessons I can learn from you that I will present to the academic audience will benefit both the WikiProject Medicine (improving your understanding of yourself and helping to promote it and attract new volunteers) and the wider world of medical volunteering and academia. Open access copy of the resulting research will be made available at WikiProject's Medicine upon the completion of the project.

All questions are optional. The survey is divided into 4 parts: 1 - Brief description of yourself; 2 - Questions about your volunteering; 3 - Questions about WikiProject Medicine and 4 - Questions about Wikipedia's coverage of medical topics.

Please note that by filling out this questionnaire, you consent to participate in this research. The survey is anonymous and all personal details relevant to your experience will be kept private and will not be transferred to any third party.

I appreciate your support of this research and thank you in advance for taking the time to participate and share your experiences! If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me at my Wikipedia user page or through my email listed on the survey page (or by Wikipedia email this user function).

The survey is accessible through the LINK HERE.

A barnstar for your efforts[edit]

COVID-19 Barnstar
Awarded for efforts in expanding and verifying articles related to COVID-19. Awarded by Cdjp1 (talk) 8 March 2022 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dreamz Infotainments requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Zerodha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zerodha (2nd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Zerodha, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

List of women's health articles[edit]

Hello Netha! Your presentation at Wikimania was really inspiring, and I have been thinking (I think I commented this to you) on making something about women's health with students at Basque Wikipedia. I write you because I can't find the list you presented, I can only find the redlinks. Could you give me a link to the full list? Thanks! Theklan (talk) 18:49, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok... I found it! Thanks and see you! Theklan (talk) 10:04, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
